Anthony originally wanted to be a novelist after graduating from Tulane University with bachelor's degree in English literature with a business minor. He then moved to Los Angeles and started his stand up comedy. Anthony was once a staff writer for Jimmy Fallon's Late Night show but he felt his brand of humor didn't fit with the light tone of the show.
